To celebrate our 10th Anniversary we will be attempting to make a brand new World Record at this years festival! The largest ever paper boat race will take place at Granary Wharf at 3.30 pm. Come and see the beautiful flotilla of colourful paper boats battle it out on the water and a new world record for Leeds!

Join Graffiti Artist Hyrograff for a creative workshop exploring design and graffiti-style lettering. This workshop is perfect for creative young people wanting to develop their urban street style and is part of a wider project to improve the environment along the Leeds and Liverpool canal in Leeds. Designs created in this workshop will be incorporated into new temporary signage.

After a day of building wierd and wonderful craft our brave teams will launch their vessels onto the water at Castleton Mill and proudly paddle down the canal in a bid to reach Granary Wharf! Come along for a FREE boat trip with Safe Anchor Trust over festival weekend at Armley Industrial Museum. Trips take place over the weekend from 11-4 on Saturday and 12-4 on Sunday. Enjoy a fun boat trip and explore the wonderful natural environment along the Leeds and Liverpool canal. No need to book, just turn up and get on board!

The wonderful Pop Up and Play Team are back at Leeds Dock to create loads of fun for children. Stories, activities and bags of fun all weekend!

Come and Meet Bilbo the horse and his owner Sue, working their traditional horse boat over festival weekend at Oddy Locks. In authentic boater attire, Sue will demonstrate how boats operated along the Leeds and Liverpool canal powered by horses. Oddy Locks is the perfect pit stop along the canal as you explore Leeds Waterway over festival weekend, there'll be buskers, art and ice cream, hot drinks and yummy cake at The Stables tea room.

Vintage, designer and hand made market stalls are back at this years festival and we can't wait! Our traders will be joined by street food, craft brewers and live music to create the ultimate hang out by the river at Calls Landing. Check out the balcony and the beers!

We are delighted to welcome the White Rose Canoe Club to the festival again down on the water at Granary Wharf again this year. Two days of FREE taster sessions on the water, no matter what age you are! Come along and have some fun on the water!

Come and watch Graffiti Artist HYROGRAFF and his crew create a street gallery on Wellington Road Bridge. Leeds and Liverpool canal is plagued with anti-social graffiti and tagging, this projects engages young people and established artists to work together to improve the environment. 

Fusedale is an impressive, huge 140 ft long, 500 tonnes barge! Used for freight, hopefully we see this and more boats like her put to work on Leeds waterways in the future! Moored over festival weekend at Thwaites Mill, come along, get on board and explore this monster of a boat!

Hugely popular at Last years festival, the Kizomba dancers will be back for our 10th Anniversary with a sunny Sunday afternoon of dancing at Granary Wharf! No experience needed, just come and join in.

Come along to The Tetley and make a paper boat to be entered into our fantastic World Record Attempt to create the LARGEST EVER Paper Boat Race in the World! Our friendly volunteers will help you create a lovely paper boat during the workshop. Bring your family, bring your friends! 250 is the number to beat! All boats will be winging their way to Granary Wharf at 2pm for the big race! Head down there too and see if you are a winner! There will be prizes for the winners!
